Shihan Gaurav Goswami Felicitated by International Powerlifter Ms. Sima Dutta Chatterjee at Khelo India Kickboxing League
Shihan Gaurav Goswami, the Founder and Chief Technical Advisor of the District Kickboxing Association – Hooghly, was recently felicitated by Ms. Sima Dutta Chatterjee, an internationally recognized powerlifter, for his outstanding contribution to the successful conduct of the Khelo India Kickboxing League held at Durgapur.
Serving as the Tournament Director, Shihan Goswami played a pivotal role in organizing and executing the event with precision and discipline. The league witnessed an impressive participation of nearly 200 female athletes, showcasing the growing strength and enthusiasm of women in combat sports.
The event was organized under the prestigious Khelo India initiative — a flagship program of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India — aimed at promoting grassroots sports development and empowering young athletes across the nation.
The felicitation of Shihan Gaurav Goswami stands as a recognition of his continued dedication towards nurturing martial arts talent and promoting women’s participation in sports through his relentless efforts in the field of Kickboxing, Taekwondo, and Karate.
